Comment ? La r\u00e9ponse dans cet article.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Il y a\u00a0quelque temps, nous avons propos\u00e9 un article intitul\u00e9 \u00ab <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tirages-pro.com\/blog\/2016\/03\/calibrez-votre-ecran-en-20-minutes\/\">Calibrez votre \u00e9cran en 20 minutes<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0 (\u00e0 lire ou relire). Maintenant que ces\u00a0images ont \u00e9t\u00e9 soigneusement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es \u00e0 partir d\u2019un \u00e9cran calibr\u00e9, nous vous d\u00e9taillons une fa\u00e7on de pouvoir les afficher sur votre tablette avec leurs \u00ab\u00a0vraies\u00a0\u00bb couleurs !<\/p>\n<h2>Peut-on r\u00e9ellement parler de calibration d\u2019une tablette ?<\/h2>\n<p>Comprenons-nous bien : la m\u00e9thode que nous \u00e9voquons ici, si elle permet l\u2019affichage sur votre tablette de vos images telles qu\u2019elles apparaissent sur votre ordinateur calibr\u00e9, ne constitue pas en soit une \u00ab\u00a0calibration\u00a0\u00bb de votre tablette au sens strict du terme.<\/p>\n<p>En effet, la\u00a0calibration (ou \u00e9talonnage) d&rsquo;un \u00e9cran est une op\u00e9ration consistant \u00e0 :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>mesurer l\u2019affichage fourni par l&rsquo;\u00e9cran (gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une sonde)<\/li>\n<li>comparer cette mesure \u00e0 un standard connu<\/li>\n<li>corriger l\u2019affichage en cons\u00e9quence (par l\u2019application d\u2019un profil ICC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Or, si la cr\u00e9ation et l\u2019application d\u2019un profil sont possibles sur un ordinateur, il n\u2019en est pas de m\u00eame pour une tablette. Pour cette derni\u00e8re, nous avons recours \u00e0 une solution alternative, qui consiste en l\u2019utilisation d\u2019une application tierce permettant de simuler l\u2019affichage d\u2019un profil ICC.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9cran demeure non calibr\u00e9, mais l&rsquo;affichage des photos dans l&rsquo;application d\u00e9di\u00e9e l&rsquo;est en prenant en compte l&rsquo;\u00e9cran utilis\u00e9. Le r\u00e9sultat est le m\u00eame quand vous utilisez l&rsquo;application.<\/p>\n<p>Il existe \u00e0 ce jour diff\u00e9rentes solutions de ce type. Dans un souci de coh\u00e9rence, nous avons choisi d\u2019utiliser pour ce test un mat\u00e9riel dont nous avions d\u00e9j\u00e0 parl\u00e9 : la sonde i1Display Pro de X-Rite.<\/p>\n<h2>Comment faire ?<\/h2>\n<p>Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;aborde de t\u00e9l\u00e9charger l\u2019application mobile X-Rite d\u00e9di\u00e9e, ColorTRUE, via les liens suivants :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pour iOS : <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/colortrue\/id773486990?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\">t\u00e9l\u00e9charger<\/a> sur l&rsquo;AppleStore<\/li>\n<li>Pour Android :\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.xrite.mobiledisplaycalibration\" target=\"_blank\">t\u00e9l\u00e9charger<\/a> sur GooglePlay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>NB : si l\u2019application est disponible en t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement gratuit (pour Android et Apple) il vous faudra cependant disposer d&rsquo;une\u00a0des sondes compatibles pour l\u2019utiliser.<\/p>\n<p>La suite est un v\u00e9ritable jeu d\u2019enfant. On notera l\u2019importance de disposer \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 d\u2019un ordinateur dot\u00e9 de la derni\u00e8re version de i1Profiler et, bien \u00e9videmment, de la sonde. Une fois la mesure termin\u00e9e, la sonde g\u00e9n\u00e8re\u00a0automatiquement un profil qu\u2019elle applique \u00e0 vos images lors de leur affichage via la galerie de l&rsquo;application ColorTRUE. Une fois que vous avez s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 une image, l\u2019application vous l\u2019affiche en tenant compte de l\u2019\u00e9talonnage tout juste r\u00e9alis\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 noter que vous pouvez toujours, si vous le souhaitez, effectuer un comparatif avant \/ apr\u00e8s \u00a0de vos images gr\u00e2ce au bouton \u00e9talonn\u00e9 \/ non \u00e9talonn\u00e9 figurant sous l\u2019image.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, tout comme dans la biblioth\u00e8que d\u2019origine de votre iPad, le fait de toucher l\u2019\u00e9cran fera instantan\u00e9ment dispara\u00eetre \/ r\u00e9appara\u00eetre les boutons, vous permettant de mieux visualiser votre image sans \u00e9l\u00e9ments parasites autour.<\/p>\n<p>Rappel : le profil \u00e9tant appliqu\u00e9 \u00e0 vos images dans la galerie ColorTRUE, il sera sans effet sur les autres applications de votre tablette, y compris l\u2019application Photos classique.<\/p>\n<h2>Est-ce vraiment efficace ?<\/h2>\n<p>Nous avons test\u00e9 le r\u00e9sultat pour vous. Apr\u00e8s avoir proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9talonnage de l\u2019iPad 3 nous avons affich\u00e9 une par une les images d\u2019un \u00e9chantillon compos\u00e9 de 30 photographies. Bien que choisies au hasard, nous avons veill\u00e9 \u00e0 ce que les images composant l\u2019\u00e9chantillon pr\u00e9sentent des dominantes, des niveaux de saturation et de contraste vari\u00e9s afin que la comparaison soit la plus fiable possible.<\/p>\n<p>Les images de cet \u00e9chantillon ont donc \u00e9t\u00e9 simultan\u00e9ment affich\u00e9es :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>sur un \u00e9cran DELL calibr\u00e9 selon le mode op\u00e9ratoire d\u00e9crit dans cet article<\/li>\n<li>sur un iPad 3 avec l\u2019application ColorTRUE<\/li>\n<li>sur un iPad 3 avec l\u2019application \u00ab\u00a0Photos\u00a0\u00bb de base<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pour chacune d\u2019entre elle, nous avons successivement utilis\u00e9 le bouton \u00e9talonn\u00e9 \/ non-\u00e9talonn\u00e9 propos\u00e9 par l\u2019application ColorTRUE d\u2019X-Rite.<\/p>\n<p>Force est de constater que la pr\u00e9cision des couleurs dans l\u2019application ColorTRUE \u00e9talonn\u00e9e est rigoureusement identique \u00e0 celle obtenue sur l\u2019\u00e9cran DELL calibr\u00e9. Ce n\u2019est malheureusement pas le cas lorsque ces m\u00eames images sont affich\u00e9es directement depuis l\u2019application \u00ab\u00a0Photos\u00a0\u00bb de l\u2019iPad. Cette derni\u00e8re option fournit en effet fort logiquement un affichage similaire \u00e0 l\u2019affichage non \u00e9talonn\u00e9 dans ColorTRUE.<\/p>\n<p>En compl\u00e9ment, nous avons confront\u00e9 l\u2019affichage d\u2019une image avec ColorTRUE dans les modes \u00e9talonn\u00e9 et non \u00e9talonn\u00e9 avec un tirage d\u2019art de cette m\u00eame image sur du papier Hahnem\u00fchle Bright White (papier blanc sans dominante). L\u00e0 encore le r\u00e9sultat est sans appel et la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 des couleurs dans l\u2019application est \u00e9tonnante.<\/p>\n<h2>Conclusion<\/h2>\n<p>En \u00e0 peine 5 minutes tout compris, l\u2019application dans notre iPad a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9talonn\u00e9e gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la sonde X-Rite et nos images sont pr\u00eates \u00e0 \u00eatre pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es avec des couleurs pr\u00e9cises.
